Early detection saves lives

March is Colon Cancer Awareness month and now more than ever, we need you to ask your lawmakers to support funding for colon cancer screenings.

The Colon Cancer Prevention Network (CCPN) out of the University of South Carolina is a lifeline for patients who otherwise would not be able to afford a colon cancer screening.  Unfortunately, the CCPN ran out of money to do screenings earlier this year because of the high demand for screenings in our state.

The Senate Finance Committee is meeting to discuss this issue, and they need to hear from you. Please encourage your lawmakers to fund $1 million for screening to get this service to all the South Carolinians who need it.
