The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) commends Riverstone Health, which creates public health policy for Yellowstone County, for proposing a new rule to its existing smoke-free air law to prohibit the use of electronic cigarettes anywhere smoking is not allowed, and prohibit smoking including e-cigarette use within 30 feet of building entrances and windows.
PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. – June 19, 2017 – Prince George’s County Council is considering a bill that will allow smoking in certain clubs in the county.
The president’s proposed 2018 budget, would decrease the National Institutes of Health budget by 21 percent, decrease the National Cancer Institute budget by 25 percent, cut the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s chronic disease program by nearly 20 percent and reduce Medicaid funding by more than $600 billion.
