Wyoming State Lead Ambassador

Shawna Little Wyoming Volunteer

Shawna Little from Cody, Wyoming has been involved with ACS CAN since 2017 and with ACS since 2003 where she served as a Relay for Life Event Chair for five years. Shawna is a vision therapist and is involved very involved in many areas of her community, including the local schools and her church.

Why should others in your community get involved in ACS CAN?

Others should get involved with ACS CAN so they can provide support for their loved ones in their communities thru their cancer battle, and in hopes that together we can prevent future diagnosis.

Tell us something about your state?

Wyoming is has a very low population, and we are very spread out. Our volunteers around the state are amazing at stepping up and helping!

Why are you a cancer advocate?

I have lost many loved ones to cancer. My husband lost his battle to brain cancer at 30 years old. My hope is that one day soon, no one will have to hear "you've got cancer".
