Date set for our 2020 ACS CAN Missouri Day at the Capitol
Our ACS CAN Missouri Day at the Capitol event on April 8th provides our advocates the opportunity to meet directly with their State Representatives and State Senators to discuss the key issues we'll be working on this session. Those issues include:
- Securing funding to help keep kids from falling victim to the tobacco industry's marketing and help teens and adults quit.
- Telling lawmakers we care about access to affordable and adequate health care coverage, so that Missourians can access cancer screenings and treatment.
- Supporting legislation that will protect kids from the harmful effects of indoor tanning.
- Maintaining funding so uninsured and underinsured women have access to life-saving preventative cancer screenings.
Mark your calendar now for April 8th and reach out to ACS CAN Missouri Grassroots Manager, Tim Freeman, at [email protected] for more information.
We hope you can join us in Jefferson City on April 8th!
