The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) hosted ‘Cancer Action Day’ at the Colorado state capitol Wednesday. ACS CAN volunteers, including cancer survivors, patients, and caregivers met with several lawmakers and urged them to support and pass House Bill 1110, Healthcare Coverage for Biomarkers Testing. The bi-partisan legislation would expand equitable access to biomarker testing statewide.

Denver, Colo. – November 17, 2021 – Today, the Denver City Council Safety, Housing, Education, and Homelessness Committee voted unanimously, 7-0, to end to the sale of many flavored tobacco products including e-cigarettes and menthol flavored products.

DENVER, Colo.—Jared Polis enacted legislation today (House Bill 1076) that adds e-cigarettes to Colorado’s statewide smoke-free law and prohibits their use in public places and workplaces. The new law takes effect July 1.
