Sign the petition: Protect New Hampshire kids from the health risks of tobacco!
- In New Hampshire, more than 400 kids (under 18) become new daily smokers each year, and 22,000 kids now under 18 and alive in our state will ultimately die from smoking.
- The rate of high school students who use e-cigarettes in New Hampshire is 23.8% and climbing.
- Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut have already acted to protect kids in their states by raising their tobacco sales age to 21.
- Tobacco use costs our state $729 million in annual health care expenses.
That’s why I’m calling on New Hampshire lawmakers to raise the minimum sale age for all tobacco products in our state, including e-cigarettes, to 21.
Please protect New Hampshire kids from Big Tobacco and their deadly products!
