Restore Tobacco Cessation Funding
Our kids are worth more than zero.
Tobacco use is a pediatric epidemic. This year alone in Tennessee, 2,600 kids will become new daily smokers as the tobacco industry spends over $292 million on marketing and advertising to entice new youth smokers.
The state budget has eliminated funding to the Department of Health tobacco prevention and cessation programs. We need proven tobacco prevention and cessation programs here in Tennessee to safeguard our kids, reduce long term health care costs, and help people kick the habit, once and for all!
Tell the Tennessee General Assembly to protect our children by restoring funding to the Department of Health's tobacco prevention and cessation programs.
