Restore Funding to Fight Tobacco NOW!

For years, Connecticut has been taking money away from programs to educate kids about the dangers of tobacco products, and away from programs to help people who use tobacco quit. This raiding has left zero state funding to address the epidemic of youth e-cigarette use.

That’s gotta stop.

In 2017, youth tobacco use increased in Connecticut after years of decline, and a whole new generation of people addicted to deadly tobacco will be looking for ways to quit.

It’s time for state lawmakers to stop the raids and restore Connecticut’s tobacco control program to its previous funding level of $12 million.
