Protect Kids and Raise the Minimum Tobacco Sales Age to 21
Washington youth have big dream, but Big Tobacco has other plans. Each year, 17,800 kids will try smoking for the first time. 95% of adult smokers start before the age of 21. Let's protect Washington kids and raise the legal age of sale to 21.

- 104,000 Washington kids alive today will die from tobacco-related illnesses
- Tobacco use costs our state $2.81 billion in healtcare costs
- 65% of Washington voters support raising the legal age to 21
Elected Officials, please stop balancing the state budget on the backs of teenager smokers.
I call on you to show your support for legislation that would raise the minimum tobacco sales age to 21.
