To my U.S. Senators: Cervical cancer shouldn't be a death sentence for any woman ... anywhere!
Where you live shouldn’t determine if you live. But, when it comes to preventing and surviving cervical cancer, it makes all the difference in the world.
The facts are clear:
- We have the vaccine and simple screening and treatment tools to end all deaths from cervical cancer.
- 90% of all women who die from cervical cancer are from low and middle-income countries because they don’t have reliable access to these resources.
- If we do nothing, the number of cervical cancer deaths will increase by nearly 50% in the next 20 years, totaling almost 450,000 women and girls.
Cervical cancer shouldn't be a death sentence for any woman in any country. Please support dedicated funding in this year’s budget to help eliminate deaths from cervical cancer worldwide.
