Increase funding to protect our kids from tobacco

Tobacco use is a pediatric epidemic. This year alone in Tennessee, 125,000 kids will become new daily smokers as the tobacco industry spends $288.9 million on marketing and advertising to entice new youth smokers.

We need proven tobacco prevention and cessation programs in Tennessee to safeguard our kids, reduce long term health care costs, and help people kick the habit, once and for all!

I urge Tennessee lawmakers to protect our children by increasing funding to the Department of Health tobacco prevention and cessation programs..
